Ping Shan Heritage Trail

This 1.6 km trail is located in the Yuen Long District in Hong Kong.  It passes through the villages of Hang Mei Tsuen, Hang Tau Tsuen and Sheung Cheung Wai and allows visitors to see traditional buildings from what they call the New Territories.  If you are interested, you can read more about this trail at this site: Ping Shan Heritage Trail.

Yu Kiu Ancestral Hall & Tang Ancestral Hall.  These were used for worship, celebrating festivals and regular meetings.

Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda, Hong Kong’s only ancient Pagoda.  It was originally seven stories tall, but now it is only three due to weather damage.  It was built to improve fung shui against potential flooding.
