For most of the week, we stayed in a little town called Memmingen.  It was centrally located for all the places that we wanted to visit.  It was such a cute, typical Bavarian town.  Every building was covered in window flowerboxes, cobblestone roads ran through the city center and there were a number of outdoor cafés and beer gardens.  We stayed at Pension Erb and we probably occupied 90% of the rooms.  They had a little garden where you could sit outside and a black cat strolled through the garden wanting to be fed or petted.

We had some tasty dinners at a brewpub, a Greek restaurant and a German/Italian restaurant.  We also had Eis (ice cream) every day, sometimes twice a day.
