Askersund

Our final two nights before our overnight ferry back to Germany were spent at the Husabergsudde Campground in Askersund on Lake Vättern.  It was a relaxing time.

We set-up camp in the evening.

The following day we rented a canoe and went out on the lake.  Unfortunately, it was pretty windy and we (me) had some problems paddling against the wind and didn’t quite make it to our destination, a slott (castle) on the other side of the lake.

In the afternoon, we walked into the town Askersund.

Before dinner Christian took a nap & I read.

The following morning we packed up our camp & started our drive back to Göteborg.
