Edgar Mine Tour

Christian had some free time on the last day of the conference in Denver.  We decided to drive up to Idaho Springs and take a tour of the Edgar Experimental Mine, which is owned and used by the Colorado School of Mines (CSM).  Christian used to teach at CSM while living in Denver.  In the 1800’s this mine was used to extract gold, silver, lead and copper.  Now it is used by the Mining Engineering Department at CSM.  It is a place for students to train and research.
